I used to store them standing upright with pins stuck into foam lining the bottom of the box, but this proved to take up too much space and it was hard to find boxes that were tall enough. Laziness means I just started tossing them in a box and not worrying about it. Haven't pricked a finger yet...the trick is to lie them on their side with the pins all facing the same direction.Pizzagrenadierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10560620655977269763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5851380184654097386.post-52167637672013315982011-06-14T23:18:46.061-04:002011-06-14T23:18:46.061-04:00How do you store those birch trees? How do you store those birch trees?Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08271395213914640819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5851380184654097386.post-45290156811126806612011-06-13T15:53:11.262-04:002011-06-13T15:53:11.262-04:00Thanks! I love simple and fast. I would like to someday do rubber latex roads, but just haven't set aside time to try it yet.

I have found that roads look better when done in longer sections. There are a lot of nice rubber latex roads out there and the way many are made into 1' sections makes them easier to set up in various patterns but that also ruins the effect for me. I think when I do mine it will be in much longer sections (minimum of 2'). I might even do some 4' sections. My felt roads are all in 2' sections. I just hang the extra over the table edge.Pizzagrenadierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10560620655977269763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5851380184654097386.post-70367243425593053502011-06-13T12:52:38.505-04:002011-06-13T12:52:38.505-04:00Beautiful and simple to create!
